I was talking to someone online that I matched with on an app and within 10 minutes of the text conversation, I mentioned “you have adorable, pretty eyes”. She responded: “Oh, do you tell that to every girl?” And I replied, “no, only you”. After that, she stopped responding and I felt like I lost my chance.
Im upset that I can’t be articulate and smooth with girls, despite years of trying. Is it worth trying to date?

When you fail, then you get up and start over again. This is how people succeed.
In your example above, did you tell the girl that you have Asperger's? If you don't let her know, she will only think that you are using those pick up lines to try to get to her but if you fill her in about your challenge, she will react differently.
Of course, it is never easy to confess that you have a certain handicap but anyone that you try to flirt with will find out sooner or later. If you tell her beforehand, you are not misleading her and she will most likely be more understanding. Good luck.
Of course. Just don’t make it your life’s goal and be open minded about who you’ll date without lowering your personality or intellectual standards.
