Honestly girl, i think this is either because he has things to hide or just being shy...

Try asking for other simple things like fav color, fav hobby, whos his bestfriend, how close with his fam kinda things. If he is shy he will open up one day, and if he is hiding something, he will lie or come up with an excuse not to tell you

Start by asking his last name so you can save him in your contacts on your phone.
If you see him again ask questions. If he's serious about you he shouldn't be scared off by questions.

you can always do a reverse phone number search and if no info pops up he is either using a burner phone or is using a text now app which means he is shady and has some kind of agenda
