He is not serious about me but doesn't want me to date anyone else. What to do?

He (37M) convinced me to stop dating every boy that aproached me (24F), even though he is never serious about me. And yesterday when I called him a little girl picked up. How to talk to him about this?

He is a pilot who has layovers in my city. I am working at the hotel he usually stays at.
I think I am in love with him. He is good looking and I always had a thing for men in uniforms. I feel like they are some kind of authority figures and it's a turn on. So we started sleeping together. I hoped for more but he said he can't. He is not ready.

I started seeing someone else (24M) so I told him we cannot see each other anymore. For a while he stopped talking to me at all. He respected also that I want a relationship.
Then he wanted to give us another chance. He said he wants something serious and asked me to stop seeing the other guy. So I stopped and for a few weeks we were going for dinners, dates. It all stopped again and we are back to just sleeping together. After a while, another guy approached me and again, he started taking me out on dates and wanted me to stop talking to any other. I always go back to him.

Yesterday I called him and a little girl answered his phone. I got scared. He called back and said it was his niece. But I don't know if he is telling the truth.

See THIS sort of guy is a pita. I have been grappling with one of those for months now.

It MAY have something to do with the extensive travel -- which is my case as well. The travel not only means that he's physically AWAY from you for long spurts of time but also that he ACTUALLY HAS access to a whole new batch of women wherever he lands, so he's into keeping his "options open" and saying stuff like "I'm seeing you" instead of "I'm dating you"...

Distance yourself from this guy and take what he says with a grain of salt. His compliments are just polite things a guy says to a girl when there's no alternative of what to say.

Uhm guys like that want you to himself while he isn’t loyal and committed to you yet is just being manipulative and selfish. Girl, do not closed your other options until someone makes you his official girlfriend. Raise your standards. He’s also being fishy, so he’s a major red flag.
