It more important to women because hypergamy, women want the best genes for their children, and that is tall genes, and tall men look more masculine, women like masculine men.

Not in Asia and Iceland and many other similar countries where countless women prefer slim and cute and short guys lol. Especially in Eastern Europe. They're also more beautiful than many unattractive spoiled western women here.

Height just isn’t important to most of us. But guys will believe whatever they want and you can’t tell them any different. It’s become the go to excuse for lack of dating success. Frankly I’m sick to death of questions and useless banter about height.

But there's a reason mostly men ask this. Can't blame them entirely for this insecurity because there are cruel misandrists and members of your gender that pretend to care about height. But yes, I know they really don't care

i think generally women are shorter and so want a guy who's taller than them, i don't know when 6ft became the new norm but yeah...
