Boyfriend accused me of cheating when I didn’t and dumped me? What should I do?

Something has happened to my (ex) boyfriend where he’s been calling me out of my name and making up fake stories about me being some whore. One story he’s told me he’s heard I go out at night and sleep at other men’s houses. He’s told me he’s heard stories about me from several other men but NOT A SINGLE PERSN knows im dating him!!! and I don’t tell anyone!!! I highly doubt he tells anyone. He constantly telling me that he’s heard from several other people about activities that I do. Only a girl knows we are dating but he says it’s a group of guys who are telling him. Now he’s done this a long time ago but this time it’s getting worst because he’s became aggressive and been calling me out of my name. He’s already dumped me and doesn’t want to speak to me ever again when I’ve done nothing wrong. He hasn’t given me any chances to defend myself.
