My friend need an answer for this

Her boyfriend broke up with her but haven't said any right reason after sometime he said that he love another girl but as the time passes recently he again started to talk with my friend normally but she was confused and he is not clearly saying whether they are in relationship or not, she is very confused what to do about this situation
