How can I tell if a guy who is friendly to everyone likes me?

I’m trying to figuring out if the guy who I like that has been starring at me likes me. He is friendly to everyone. What are the Signs he is just being friendly or actually likes me? I really want to get an idea before I ask him out for coffee.

Yeah I didn’t realise I clicked on anon. When he was walking past he starred at me. Also we just started working together but because we predominantly work from home we were on a lot of team video calls but didn’t meet in person until last week. But I had a feeling he liked me. I mentioned to him a few weeks ago that I was looking forward to meeting him. When I got to the office he stood looking at me from afar but I acted as though I didn’t see. So he went over to some colleagues who were close by asking how they were doing in the new role. (They started with me) although they were working in the office with him before me. I think he did that so I’d go over and say hi. Anyhow as he was leaving I had the courage to say hi and he said it’s nice to finally put the face to the name. And asked about my work.

No it’s not a sign that he likes you. But now you like him. So be sure to suggest a drink or meal after work one day. Keep it casual so he can decline respectfully
