Since feminism took hold of practically the world at this point and time as far as dating and marriage go do you believe things are better today than they were in the 1950's or worse as a whole?

Sort of 50/50.

Back then, it might take you several months of dating before you could touch her tits. Today, you can practically walk up to a girl and give `em a squeeze!
Back then, if you were lucky, you could get sex after you married her. Today, you're lucky to get sex if you've had 2 dates with her.

However, although the sex is a LOT easier to come by, the marriages don't seem to last very long! She gets bored real easy and starts fucking around with other guys and, after a couple years together, it's divorce time. 3 weeks later, she marries the new guy! After another few years, she's got a new guy in her sights and goes after him! Marriage isn't sacred, anymore!! It's a venture you both decide to get into on a whim and, if things don't work out after a couple years, no problem, just get a divorce and jump right into a new marriage with someone else! Hey! You got your chocolate in my peanut butter!" "Yeah, but, it tastes great, doesn't it?" "Yeah! Let's keep doing it!" Until one of you discover there's already candy bars like that and then you don't need each other, anymore and start getting it from another source!
That's what DATING is supposed to be like!! You start going steady with someone and see how things work out and then, if you're still together after 2 or 3 years, THEN you get married! If they aren't the best things could be, just break up and start seeing someone else! Today, there's very little dating!! You go out with someone a time or two, you fuck `em and set the wedding date for a month later!
So, on one hand, you're getting the sex you want but you aren't getting the relationship you want. In the `50's, you got the relationship but not much of the sex! In the `50's and `60's, HE gets bored from an almost complete LACK of sex and looks for other women to get the sex he needs, she finds out he's fucking other girls and it's divorce time. In some cases, more often than not, marriages in the `50's WERE sacred affairs and people would STAY married their entire adult lives!!

Feminism did good in 1920 but today has made both quality of Dating and Family less desirable. Feminism did not suddenly begin in 1950 as it got going in 1920s with Voting Rights but was grounded in Jung.
Feminism’s newest Nature announced itself in USA during World War 2 but can be found as far back as the Bible as “there is nothing new under the sun”.

“Peace Not War” and “Peace is Love”, evidenced in 1960-1970 Vietnam War, originated in WW1(1914-1919) and it too underpinned in Red Book by Jung. Jung said “Goal is that all is (societally) Bad, be Good” in early 1900s and the Left has done it with Family, Feminism, and LGBT.

It take 40-70 years for a new idea to manifest fully. Lots of people said in writing during 1962 and 1963, when both Bibles and Prayers were removed from schools, that in 70 years there would be no more America. In 1980 when 10 Commandments were removed from schools and the Same people were saying that’s 20 years and 50 to go. School shootings now….

70 years will be 2033…. With a China that the 1960 leaders could not envision, given it was a closed Nation, involved perhaps 2028.

Honestly, given the current state of affairs, the way it was in the 50s is kind of appealing. As women we have gained a lot in terms of opportunities and choices, but at what cost? I feel like maybe we have given up more than we have gained.

A WHOLE lot worse and the problem is not just an introduction of feminism, it is also an open attack on men's masculinity, heavy promotion and encouragement of men to be weaker and act like women (being all emotional, gossiping etc...). On top of that, because of Hollywood and music industry, people don't believe in God anymore (HUGE problem when it comes to sustaining a successful marriage and raising healthy, smart and strong kids) Plus, because of a complete degradation of seeing women for women and not seeing girls as quick sexual pleasure toys, thanks to 30+ years of pornography, over-sexualized movies, cartoons, music, comics, etc... we have a society where in 2023, real marriage means absolutely nothing, it is just an act and show for Facebook, YouTube and instagram and ones marriage show picking it's existence, meaning no more money flowing into people's account and no more getting likes from people, divorce is being introduced to continue Facebook, YouTube and Instagram reality show.

dude this is actually a very interesting question... and it's probably a deeper question than you think. like how do you measure the quality of a marriage for example? by it's duration? by the economical success of the family unit? by the subjective happiness of the partners?

so marital duration have been going down since the 50s. but that doesn't necessarily mean people are less happy in their mariages, since the stigma and the difficulty of divorce has been reduced. so maybe people were unhappy before but they just never divorced, cause the consequences were too bad.

subjective measures of marital quality are going slightly down but that could be skewed by the fact that the longitudal subjective marital quality is roughly U-shaped. so married people become a little unhappier in the middle of their total mariage duration than they are in the beginning and towards the end (assuming they never get divorced).

and we're currently in a demographic process of aging society that means we gotta consider at what point of the U-shape people are.

overall my educated guess is that the subjective quality of marriages is going down. simply cause average life satsifaction is going down plus we're having a huge recession. so shit is going down hill overall.
