Trending & News For the worse.
Till death do us part has gone by the board and it is impossible to pretend marriage has any viability from a societal view at a median length of 8 years and 1.8 kiddies.
Still, we like fucking each other and get into relationships and expect sexual fidelity. At the same time we don't seem to have a concept of what a long term relationship is or seem to have any societal proscription against infidelity.
So it becomes a matter of what you can get away with and rather than having an expectation of continuing indefinitely, we have an expectation that we will break up. Till it stops being fun rather than till death do us part. With one girl I had it down to weekly renewals. No fault divorce embeds this into society.
A court decision, in my country, effectively has me in a common law marriage after two years. So I am unlikely to maintain a relationship for that length out of self protection.
Nonetheless we distinctly like continuity in our life and an intimate partner is strongly a part of that continuity that we seek. Something a little more than friends with benefits gives. So I doubt many of us is getting what we want.
All fucked up with no where to go.
I wouldn't describe relationships as better or worse, I would describe them as more confused.
It's a result of the feminism movement which started in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The natural roles of men and women that have been developed through millions of years of evolution by nature have been denied leading to mass confusion between the male and female gender. That confusion makes the relationships difficult.
If you are a nature denier and believe that men and women are the same and have the same natural roles and families and in society you are rewarded because that's the popular fad of the day to believe.
And if you reject that fantasy you are punished.
So both men and women don't know how to act anymore. And that confusion is what is making them unhappy.
People are always happy here when their beliefs are in line with nature because nature is reality and nature always wins.
Worse.
The more women became independent and less reliant on men for their well-being... the more men started feeling a loss of control in relationships. An educated woman that can take care of herself can leave an unhappy relationship. Men now need to actually step up and work on relationships by creating a deeper bond by connecting emotionally. Its no longer enough to throw money at a woman and claim that's a contribution.
I believe pushing for an equal give and take in turn caused men's rights groups to form. These men's right groups (manosphere) started spewing the wrong type of rhetoric about women. Teaching men to downplay an educated & independent woman and deem her as low value. Teaching men to only see the value in a woman's youth and beauty. That his value is in his status and the amount of money he makes.
I honestly think the world has become superficial. Everyone's forgotten how to love without conditions.
I don't see why they would be getting worse when things are more equal and there is more knowledge on issues and how to tackle them.
Ah, the age-old question of the dynamics between men and women—straight from the relationship coach’s love desk! I'm here to sprinkle a bit of insight and a dash of flirtation into the mix. Let's dive into the heart of it. Are things heating up in the right way, or are we witnessing the love version of global warming? Here's the scoop: it's a mix of both.
On one hand, the way we communicate has transformed. Hello, social media and instant messaging! We're talking more, but are we communicating better? It’s like having a massive menu but not knowing what to order. Lovebombing and ghosting are part of the modern love lingo, showing how quickly things can heat up or cool down.
On the other hand, awareness around consent, respect, and equality has never been higher. We're learning to understand each other's boundaries and value individuality. That’s a green flag if I ever saw one!
So, in the dance of men and women, are we stepping on each other's toes or are we moving to a rhythm that finally makes sense? Let's just say, we're learning the steps to a more complicated routine, and while there might be a few missteps, we’re getting better at dancing together. Now, isn’t that a romance worth watching? 😉

Not gonna lie, in general I barely know anything about the problems of the world around me. I have too many internal problems to focus on external problems, and I'm generally oblivious.
BUT if I were to guess... worse.
I think the internet is at least partially to blame. With the help of the internet it seems like everyone suddenly hates each other, and it's not a good thing!
Different generations hate each other, different races/cultures/ethnicities hate each other, different sexual orientations hate each other, different genders hate each other, etc...
The internet has an echo chamber effect where people are able to easily find others who agree with them however harmful their opinions are, and then their opinions become even stronger and start to spread more and more.
The internet itself is a great invention but people have been using it more for bad than for good. It seems that the relatively more recent times before the internet became so big (like the 90s or 80s or whatever) were more peaceful. From the 2000s onwards it seems like all we've had were hate and drama and violence.
And being 23 yes I know I wasn't around for the 90s and 80s, but the older people in my life say it was so much better. And from the research I've done it sure seems so.
I'm aware that in the 60s and below minorities in the USA were treated horrible, so obviously I wouldn't wanna go that far back, but 90s and 80s seems like a good in-between of the racist 60s and the dramatic and hateful current times.
Maybe I DON'T know what I'm talking about, but those are my thoughts/guesses/opinions.
TL;DR Honestly I don't really know as I'm kind of oblivious, but if I were to guess, worse. Because of the internet it seems like everyone hates each other now. And it's not good.
From sexists and those spreading lies about women / generalizing the whole gender as a whole for the downfall of modern society, of course it is getting worse. How about we show love, compassion, togetherness instead of wanting to keep pushing women away?
Feminism and social media have ruined relationships for most people. I feel like I caught the last helicopter out of Saigon with my wife who hates both these things at least as much as I do. I would not want to be single these days as a man unless I were a gigaChad.
As women get more and more financial advantages from divorce and men get fewer and fewer advantages if any at all relationships between men and women get worse. It has now gotten to the point where most men that I know are reluctant to get involved with women or marry them because they don't feel like losing all their money and losing their children.
Family court is a killer for us
Worse. Women are more liberal and men are more conservative. The morals are incompatible. Luckily there are plenty of conservative women in other countries so the higher quality men still have options.
Worse, because right wing media keeps convincing boys they can remain immature and entitled and if women don't come to them despite being immature and entitled, it's because of woke.
So your saying men shouldn't be confident?
Men and boys shouldn't have confidence when approaching women and girls?
Depends on where you stand. If you're top 20% man there's never been a better time. Women are sexually liberated and it's cheaper and easier to get sex than proably any other time besides the roaring 20's.
They're getting better in the contexts that matter to me ♀️♂️ this 2024-2025 and the last few years especially 👀😛😋
It’s getting better, people are more in-tune with what they want instead of what they think they needed
worse but it's only online. all the angry people go online. in real life everyone gets along just fine.
You don't think that carries over into real life in any way, shape, or form?
@ManInChains I do not
Ask a woman what they say about men online and have a conversation about it maybe it'll come out
@ManInChains the hottest chicks don't even go online I'll bet and they're the only ones worth caring about
They're the E-Girls and the onlyfans girls shaking their assets and tits for money online and claim to love men only because they're throwing money at her.
@ManInChains only about 1% of women are onlyfans creators. I only care about normal non whore women
Good luck finding them 🤷🏻♂️
@ManInChains the hottest ones are just randomly everywhere
Jst because they're hot doesn't mean they're automatically good. Doesn't mean they're not manipulative and use their attractiveness to their advantage.
@ManInChains I'm only interested in younger girls so they're too innocent to do shit like that.
Oh really? 🤣
@ManInChains yeah. younger is always better
Suuuuuuure, keep telling yourself that, Fabio
Getting worse, at least compared to my parents and grandparents.
Obviously worse. Everything about human existence is getting worse.
Same as it's always been
Crazier and crazier
internet making crazy
