24 F why do I suddenly feel more attracted to older guys?

I typically wouldn’t before as I used to go for guys a few years younger when I was like 22 or 23 I dated guys 18-21 but now that I’m in this place of my life of wanting something more, I tend to find myself crushing on men somewhat older than me, for example I like a 33 year old guy right now, I like 10-12 years older more so. What do people think of the younger woman pursuing the older guy?

The difference now is as a 24 year old, i suppose I’m more mature than I was when I was 18 or 21 that’s for sure, I have a lot of growth mentally that life experiences have shown me so far and I’m ready for something long term, it’s just been finding the right guy but I don’t feel uncomfortable like how some younger women would feel but I still feel young enough for him but mentally mature not naive if that makes sense.

I think woman go through this phase where they want to be promiscuous but they have a hard time being attracted to the men around them and then they see these older guys who really aren't all that different from the younger ones only they know how to present themselves better and they make more money and they generally just know how to talk to women better. But then the woman sees that and just thinks he must be more mature and that the reason they're getting along so well is because of how mature she thinks she is.

And so far as I can tell there's only a handful of ways this situation plays out. For the girl who realizes that she largely got attached to the security that his life experience brings it probably works out about as good as any other relationship. Then there's the ones who were getting conned in the beginning, but then came to terms with it only after the guy develops feelings he doesn't understand so he's oddly hot and cold with the relationship and then that can go anywhere.

We older guys have experience and stability the younger guys don't. If you're only looking for excitement, date a younger guy. If you're looking for excitement, fun and more, date an older guy.

Whichever you do, enjoy it. Age difference is really not that important, and don't let people tell you it does.

Well part of it like you said was maturation. As you got older you realize a lot of men your age aren’t going anywhere, at least not right then. As you got older, maybe you want a family which you realized requires stability, maybe even someone who is more established to be able to care for a family if you’re going to stay at home for a while to care for the child/red. Older men tend to be more stable, not all but a lot. They seem to have more confidence, know what they want at an older age as opposed to when they were younger. A man’s worth to women in our eyes is calculated by how much money we have. Is that always true? No, but a lot of times you see women w men who normally would never go w this man based on his looks. But because he has money things change. Maybe part of a female’s nature as far as taking care of a family. I don’t think there’s anything wrong w you liking older men, unless you have daddy issues meaning your father wasn’t in your life.

You are totally normal when I was age 28, I liked a girl age 21 and when I was age 35 my girlfriend at the time was age 18.

It is perfectly ok of course. Most women in your age range are the same. Anyways, you must not allow what others think bout it to influence your decision.

I think you see most men in the 20's not ready for a serious relationship, and it appears as though guys in their 30's are, which is a reasonable assumption.

This is normal behavior. Most chicks like older guys for a variety of reasons; maturity level, confidence, career, etc. Likewise older guys like younger women. You won't have an issue finding an older guy. Best of luck! DM always open
