Asked a a guy on a second date and he said one evening next week.

We got on well on the first date, but there wasn't any flirty. (I was nervous, I don't know if he was or it just wasn't his thing to do a first date)

But I did love his eyes and smile

Would it be weird to say something along the lines of (great, can't wait, to see your amazing and eyes and beautifly smile) or should I just leave that as a compliment to say on the night.

Or what would you recommend saying, just don't want to sound like a weirdo and scare him off.

I take it though if he's agreed he must sort of like me?
