Now please explain to me why it would possibly be that? Why would you ask this unless you thought that maybe it was a status thing. And why would it possibly be a status thing? ONLY if you feel that black men must feel that it increases their status to date a white woman. That is only possible, if you are making the assumption that white women are somehow superior (and thus a black man might possibly see it as something which increases his status). How are you not seeing the blatant, in-your-face racism of this question. This is blowing my mind to be honest.

Do... you not see how that question implies that black guys are superior? (At least in the minds of white women). Do you not understand how imbedded in that question is the premise that dating a black man is something white women do when they become successful and/or for status... clearly implies that dating a black man is a sign of status or success. How could a black man be something white women wanted to show off her success and status... unless black men are superior. (even if you're asking... it doesn't matter, the assumption is baked into the question).

I've met a lot of different flavors of racists. I have never run into this before. I don't know how to handle this.
