Depends on what “chatting” means in this context. Are you implying chats of sexual nature? Or just normal chats? Two people of the opposite sex can be platonic. If their chats are flirty/romantic/sexual, you already know the answer. Do not flirt with him, and do not encourage him if he starts flirting with you. Cheating is bad, but being a home wrecker is equally as bad.
