Am I weird as I think “POF” sucks?

People are generally like “omg girls receive so many messages from dating apps”. But I think it really sucks cause most of the messages are useless. I mean, I just can't decide which one of them wants to talk in a real sense. What do you think about this “POF” situation?

Honestly that feels like a pointless complaint.

A good dating site gives you what you are complaining about.

Look at their profiles, if you don't have stuff in common, block them, if you do have stuff in common, and you like their looks, talk to them.

Stop worrying about "who wants to talk in a real sense" and start looking for signs of compatability, if their profile is blank or non descript about their personality, interests, hobbies, etc, or has dealbreakers on it, block them.

There can't be that many good matches regardless of how many messages you get.

I agree mostly. Yes that what people call advantage of receiving thousand of messages is not really an advantage. I think the bad thing about it is that a lot of these messages are not serious, send dick pics or worse. Also just a lot if "hi" what should I do about that? I can better ask someone myself instead of trying to answer all of them.

Right around 2013 or so the previous owner of that site changed the rules to where men were limited by age to whom men were allowed to contact a set number within their age a limited set number something like seven years or so below their age and men were not allowed to contact them. HOWEVER once again women were allowed to contact anyone they wanted to regardless of any age differences.

And I don't use any services that are ran or operated by hypocrites regardless if they are free or not. That aside I would not date again if I were paid to do it I'm done it.
