Are we friends or meant for more?

I began dating a girl in my friend group a year back and eventually everyone found out, there was a lot of pressure on it, things were so unnatural and awkward, we kept falling out and it was a complete and utter mess. We went from being so intimate regularly, to zero spark or chemistry or anything once our friends found out.

A few months back we talked and agreed to just he friends, and it was like a massive weight was lifted off our shoulders and we became a lot more natural with eachother. We both admitted and accepted the mistakes we made when we dated but the spark was gone. She thought it was clingy because I wanted to hang out every week, and I thought she was a cold and heartless monster that had no joy in her.

We then starting vibing and were so natural with eachother and now we're inseparable. We see eachother every day at work, we go for lunch together once a week, we text daily, we ring 3 times a week, she comes to my house to get into bed with me and watch movies 3 times a week, we play xbox online together. Both our families always just assume if we're not at home we're together. she's teaching me to drive, we buy eachother gifts, she thinks I'm the funniest person she's ever met and loves spending all her time with me, whereas I think she's the goofiest and most loving person I've ever met.

We go for late night strolls and the other day we went stargazing, we tell eachother everything etc.

Our mutual best friend feels that we're perfect for eachother and its so obvious when we're natural. But when there's the pressure of an official status we couldn't do it and it's made me wonder. We're a lot closer than casual friends, and the issues we had with eachother when we dated are nonexistent now.

She said she lost the spark for me, but now our chemistry is electric. I now actually act like a man and she actually acts like a girl. I thought she was cold and boring, but now she's the bright spark of fun in my days. Are we just friends, or is there more?
