I want a commited relationship, but nearly all the women I found were boring, every interesting one I had stuff in common with or was a perfect match with was outside the US.

All the ones in the US were either looking for casual sex, or wanted to travel everywhere, or had no shared hobbies/interests (video games, sci-fi, science, fantasy, anime, etc), or they had alcohol/drug use, or they had or wanted kids, or they were religious.

I think the reason most American women say all they get is guys wanting casual sex, is because they are too boring to have any other type of guy not hit pass on their profile. Boring women who are hot, still hold value to "players" as casual sex options.

Most American women have, at most, a single sentence in their about me section. things like "I'm simple" or "fun and likes to travel" or some sort of life lesson or haiku, or the dreaded "...". And I see this shit all the time... It's nearly always a useless profile that says nothing about the person.

Why can't most women write about themselves? And the few who do bother to write in detail, are either non descript, or just never similar enough to me mentally to not pass on. Now, as a straight male, I only see female profiles, so maybe most men are just as lazy on their profiles, I dunno, but step up regardless.

You can make your experience better by spilling who you are as a person on your profile, your hobbies, your interests, your dreams, your goals, things you like and things you hate. What you are looking for in a partner, and how you want your relationship and lifestyle to be both before and after you retire. Make it a long read.

All family and friends got there partners on dating apps, and happily married, it depends which ones you go on, some dating sites, people only want hook-ups. Tinder, bubble and some others are bad, people are just interested in hook-ups.
