Okay so I have a date this Sunday at first I came up with the idea of just going to dinner & then go bowling. But she asked if we could do something outside, so my second Idea is having a picnic. For the picnic I have planned to get take out food somewhere and take it to a nice park/area. After eating we’ll play this card game that is a getting to know you card game that’s called “let’s get deep” it has 3 decks of questions the first one is “Ice breaker”, “deep” & “deeper” the game will ask friendly & semi flirty questions about getting to know each other. She also mentioned how she hasn’t gotten too much into wines yet & I love wine so I’m planning on bringing my 2 favorite bottles for her to try. I’m also debating on getting her flowers but I don’t know if that’ll be too much.
I like this idea a lot but what are some thoughts and opinions about it?

What Girls Said
If she asks for wine, ask her what brand she likes. I avoid guys that offer drinks when I did not ask for them cause he could be trying to drug me or get me drunk. I think if your doing the picnic, to skip the outside dinner, or take a walk in the sun and than have a meal on an outdoor patio. If your doing a picnic, I would get marinated cold noodles and not take out, it’s cheaper and might taste better since restaurant food is meant to be eaten immediately after it’s cooked but if you use a cooler or serve pasta or some other acceptable food, it might be good.
I was going to ask if wine was okay first before committing to it, I want her to be comfortable! But yea I’m thinking I might skip the restaurant food now
I like it, and I would be totally down for a date like that but let me make a few suggestions. Instead of takeout I would suggest Charcuterie. Can still be pretty cheap, but it looks fancy and is easier to snack on while having a glass or two of wine. If you don’t know each other well I would also suggest giving her the address and letting her drive. Will make her feel safer as she knows she will have a way out if things go poorly.
I’m leaning towards the charcuterie right now tbh. But yes I agree with the her driving part also as an option. We’ve only met twice so far
This might help. One of my favorite cooking YouTube channels.
