There was a guy in my class last semester who sat across from me. We made a class circle and he always made eye contact while he’s talking. I’ve seen him do it to other people but he did it to me the most.
He’s opinionated and outspoken and smart.
Anyways one class I came in and was on my phone. He was debating something funny with another classmate lol.
I kept looking up at my phone and smiling at him and looking down.
He did the same and kept smiling and looking at me then back at the classmate who he was talking to. I was smiling at him and looking back at my phone and I kept repeating. But he was reciprocating. I finally stopped and gazed down at my phone. When I looked back up at him he was staring and sleepily smiling at me and kinda yawned and said something then put his head on his desk but I didn’t catch what he said lol.
The whole transaction was interesting.
He had a girlfriend but whenever he mentioned her it was something negative about her family. I don’t think they’re still together. He’s called me out in class once and asked if me specifically was gonna say something to the discussion (because I contribute a lot) but maybe he likes hearing it. I’m not the only one to contribute by the way. Also this semester he waved to me when I saw him the hall on the first day.
So fast forward a few weeks I’ve kinda moved on and I joined an organization at my school and He’s in it lol. We have a groupchat and I noticed his name when I joined. He’s very outspoken in the group chat and I probably will see him again because we’re in the same club. I saw that he sent a virtual wave to a few different girls when they joined the chat ( it’s friendly and everyone will virtually wave. I found out he joined a class about black girls in literature which I thought was nice because I’m a black girl lol. I saw him today and smiled and he gave me a quick wave but was walking kinda fast lol. Could he be attracted to me?

It is difficult to say with certainty what the other person's intentions are, as there could be a variety of reasons why he is waving or acting friendly towards you. It is possible that he is attracted to you, but it is also possible that he is simply being friendly or polite.
Based on the information you have provided, it seems like he is generally outgoing and outspoken, and he has shown interest in your contributions to class discussions. He may simply be trying to be friendly and build connections with people in his class or organization, including you.
If you are interested in getting to know him better, you could try initiating conversation or asking him questions about his interests or experiences. However, it is important to approach any potential interactions with respect and consideration for his boundaries and feelings, and to avoid making assumptions about his intentions or motivations without clear evidence.
Again and again with this crap. No, he isn't interested, or attracted. Neither is your professor, or the fireman who you never even met.
Besides he has a girlfriend which you are ignoring out of convenience. Don't be gross, go find a single guy. 😁
