Should I just take the hint?

I met a guy on hinge, we’ve met once and we have been talking on iMessage for a month now. A few weeks ago he went the whole day without saying a word so I asked him if he was still interested and if not to let me know, which he replied to saying he had some stuff going on and he tries to stay off his phone hence the slow replies. I accepted his reasoning and he had improved his communication for a while after that. However he has done the same thing again but this time he has been active in socials, my logic would be that if he can be active in socials he can send a text which takes two seconds, or am I overthinking?

You’re giving off the vibe of being very codependent. It’s not a good thing to be talking to someone 24/7 or consistently expecting a text back just cause they are free. If your jumping to overthinking right away it’s something you need to work on
