It's not gonna work.
Also, if he's a white American man, stay away. They're the most entitled, most incompetent, least empathetic people on Earth.
And don't go live in the US. If you're a woman, you're not going to have any rights.
If he wants to date you, HE gets to move (and in my experience, white American men can't understand that they aren't allowed to just up and move countries like they're moving between states - they do not understand immigration, visitor visas, and they can't deal with bureaucracy at all).
But seriously.
DO NOT do a long distance relationship.
Yeah, it's odd that he wants you to visit him instead.
