Should I be concerned about this?

I’ve been seeing this guy for a few months now. I’ve stayed over at his a few times and we’ve gone out on normal dates like out for dinner and out for coffee etc.

For some reason when we are in the middle of cuddling or intimacy he will say things to me like ‘if we don’t work out at least I can add something we spoke about to my new dating profile bio’

another time he joked about dating a teacher (I’m a teacher) and he said ‘I once dated a teacher and it didn’t work out’ in a jokey way

Another time after we’d been intimate he told me he had aids and started laughing. I freaked about it all weekend and was about to take some serious treatment and then when I confronted him about it he told me that he was joking. He then brought up that he’d been watching a film about a man with aids after I’d expressed my concerns about it all.

He has also insulted me once or twice but I’ve been confused and thought it was as a joke. He told me that I was hairy and compared me to a hairy guy on tv. He has called me annoying as well.

should I be concerned about this or am I overthinking?

It's worth looking at and keeping in mind. He sounds like he has a very "unique" sense of humor at the very least lol. If that's all it was, I'd say get to know him more, go slow. But, insulting is another story. Did he say them in "joking" ways/tone? Because that gives it away often. But you're not even officially a couple (right?) and he's saying you're annoying? hmmm. Besides these things, how has it been going? How do you feel when with him? Trust your gut instinct. From the outside looking in, based on this it doesn't sound like you two are a match, but, some people are just "different" and maybe you just need to have a little heart to heart with him? But the insulting is concerning.

And re-reading, who "jokes" about Aids? He does sound a bit weird lol. And it bothered you, and you told him so, did he apologize then to you for getting you upset? I would have. That's the first thing I would've done. If it was truly a "joke" and not meant to upset you.

You know I love to laugh and I love to joke and I have a pretty dry sense of humor but to be 100% honest with you. I felt every single one of your words and it really made me uneasy I'm an empath and I feel people's energy and emotion and there is something wrong with that old picture for me personally I would be concerned about it I need my stomach still turning right now

Sounds like you met him online. You should be concerned about the aids joke if you didn't use protection especially since most mentally healthy people wouldn't jole around like that. Sounds like he is shit testing your self esteem and confidence level. Id expect to get slapped in the face for saying some shit like that and im one of the most unapologetic people i know.
