she is on vacation. i think she just wants to be able to enjoy her time, especially if arguments are going on that are taking away from her ability to enjoy the vacay.
explain to her that you would appreciate the occasional text but understand she is busy and isn't available to chat all the time but the occasional text would be nice. when she gets back from vacay gauge her behavior to determine if you have something to be worried about
i know for me, when i'm on vacation i generally leave my phone and try to just be in the moment. texting can pull you from that ability to just enjoy
