I've tried dating a few girls. All were terrible experiences. Now I have a sour taste for women in general. Is this common for men? Why?

First girl used me for attention. That was a whole 'thing'. (over 1 year)

Second was using me as emotional support. I don't want to think about it. (3-4 months)

Third wanted attention constantly, she flipped out if I would say no to something like facetime or didn't respod to a text within 5 minutes, especially when I was busy. (Like 2-3 weeks)

So you can already see a trend of them being sorter and shorter, with the last one being about a month ago now.

I don't want to have this view, but the best way I can explain it is through the saying one bad apple ruins a bunch, but in this case several.

In case it makes a difference, here's some info. I'm straight and nearly 17. I don't know if I just don't know at this point if it's my fault like for example, maybe I'm aromantic or something and haven't figured that out?

Either way, It unfortunately has given me a sour taste for girls now and I'm not sure what I can do about it.

I don't know if it's on my end, if it's worth even trying again with someone else, or anything that could help relieve this 'trauma' for lack of better terms.

I don't know if this is common thing that happens to people either.

One last bit, my best friend keeps saying that I just had really bad experiences with girls and they aren't all like that, which I know is true, but still, it made me not even want to try any more after this stuff happened 3 different times.

Any response will help, thank you so much.
