Nope, it might be the opposite or somewhere in the middle. I've had an ugly phase and my personality still caught the attention of a few. Now, being better looking than I did before, I meet less genuine people. I think most men want to date attractive women but don't have the courage to do so or keep up with her. Especially now given how much real life socialisation has died out. I've noticed that with anyone who is attractive, they will generally experience a lot of people who are initially infatuated and as they get to know the person, the personality is not as exciting as they thought or they have nothing in common.
