I told him last night that I’d probably sleep with him after he told me he loves me and he said I wasn’t obligated to and can still do it on my own time. Today he told me he loved me and I can’t help but feel anxious that he rushed it just to sleep with me. I do love him but have anxiety he really doesn’t and wants to just sleep with me and go.

I don't know where you learned this, but you have the completely wrong idea about sex. You can't trade it for love or commitment. "I love you" is worthless. Have sex because you want to have sex, take the necessary precautions, enjoy it, and don't regret it. If you don't try to trade sex for something else, you can't be "played."
