Is there any such thing as income insecurity when dating?

I wonder if men are income insecure when dating a woman. Lately I've dated some high quality men where we get along great, have fun, have common goals, like a lot of the same things, then I get ghosted or breadcrumbed without explanation.
Do men end relationships due to (or perceived) lifestyle or income difference?

First what's high quality man? I really don't support men or woman being called superior then someone else. Why would anyone ask because I've grown while have nothing to having everything and thant hasn't changed me even a bit. Do I consider myself superior I don't think so because I do know what is to have nothing.

Also there people out there which don't have anything yet are more then those high quality people. So is income a measure in my eyes no isn't as long you ain't some gold digger that doesn't know the value of money, that being said for both man and woman.

Now is there income insecurity yes there is won't point fingers but it's become an isue for the majority of people going in dating because it's build a false standing in what's normal this days.

“High value” is a common phrase in the women dating lingo. It is different for every woman and it basically means does he match your wants and desires.

I’ve never heard of that happening. I would not rule it out completely, but wouldn’t that be something that would get someone filtered out early on? Now if a woman has money issues, that’s going to scare most guys away.

If he lets that insecurity get in the way of an otherwise healthy connection then it certainly would get him filtered out.
I wonder if this has ever happened and a man broke up with a woman over it instead of bringing it up to her.

Some men make a big deal over money or lack of money. If that is their problem, then they are probably not worth dating anyway.

Def agree to that last part! I guess I’m wondering if there is a conversation to get a guy to give it up if that is the issue?

I used to when I was younger. Now I don't care. Because now I'm financially secure. I KNOW I make enough not only for myself but her as well if need be (she doesn't have to have a job but I expect her to do something even if it's just volunteering. It's less about the money and more about having a passion, having goals to work towards because a life without goals is no life at all).

I am a thrifty person though. Something I've been working on to be less that way but it's ingrained in me and I don't apologize for it. The woman I meet has to be of similar mind. She doesn't have to think exactly like me, in fact I don't think that would be a good thing. But we have to view money matters similarly or it isn't going to work.

So when you were younger, did you feel some kind of way if you felt a woman made more money or was better off financially (if that was your perception)?
If so, would you end a connection in your honest opinion?

I don't think I ever pursued any woman who made significantly more than me. I knew what the "traditional expectations" on me were. It's kind of implied just being a guy.

I don’t know do you dress real fancy do you expect elaborate vacations and fancy stuff given as presents? Did you talk about any of that stuff? Maybe you’re giving different vibes?

I like to dress nice when I show up bc I’m in scrubs most of my life it feels like. I’ve never asked for anything but I’ve invited some men with me when I have tickets to a show or a concert. They always accept and will pay for dinner and drinks. A couple of relationships I have paid for a nice hotel out of town, and they pick up the bill for dinner and drinks, parking etc. I’ve never mentioned any of these. I just feel like they’re being traditional, and when I offer to pay, they insist on paying.
