I'd like to hear the definition of mama's boy. Because I'm close to my mom. I'm not ashamed of that nor will I be made to feel ashamed of that. But even I know your lady ALWAYS comes first. But I would NOT be with a woman who perceived my mom as some sort of a threat. That woman is TOXIC. Maybe she doesn't realize it, but she is.

Italian men regardless of age have mothers that are overprotective but they will leave the nest at some point but when discussing men who identify as liberal I would tell females to not pursue them. Just saying

No, not at all. One thing my husband and I have in common is we have nothing to do with our parents. I haven't seen or talked to my parents in 17 years, and it has been even longer for my husband.

I would not have a problem with a cooperative and supportive mother but if she is abusive and mean, I would consider structuring her out of our regular down time.
