i get no attention from men. Maybe once every few years , some random guy in my class would be interested in me. Often times, I'm not even interested him. I never get approached. Guys literally never look at me. Sometimes they are either unreceptive or unfriendly towards me. should i just give up? there's no point in pursuing something that clearly does not work.

It's likely your insecurities and desperation are what you're projecting out there, and that's making boys uninterested.
Just do you. Focus on making yourself happy without needing a guy.
That sort of independence and self-drive attract men to you. But also, like, if your whole ass personality is "I'm ugly, no one likes me", it's gonna become true.
Instead, focus on having fun for yourself. Do things you like, and make platonic friends.
You can't expect others to love you when you won't even love yourself.
