Say you're in college and you get to know a dude who's below ur standards like socially awkward no grooming bad grades average body and lools like he doesn't have 5$ to treat you for a coffe.
Throughout the years he gets slightly better and better till he's the opposite of everything I just said by the last semster his grades are better he looks better can hold an interesting convo gets shredded rolls in a nice car has a nice place and already working a well paid part time that will hire him full time when he graduates

And he makes his move would u like him or will the first impression eww no be the answer?

Also if u think taht if his current version is what matters what would be more attractive if u see him gradually become a better person or if he Disappeared for a while and surprised u with His new self?

First impressions are ALWAYS crucial and determining when making an important decision.

This fellow may have changed in the course of a few years but you never know for sure what are the reasons that made him change for the better. Deep inside, he is still a slob because the intrinsic part of a character don't change overnight.

Therefore, I would ask myself what motivated him to change so drastically even though I am aware that his character has not changed. Is it a sudden interest for women? Is it because he got a lot of money all at once? Is it because he was forced or motivated to make all those changes?

Yes, for me the first impression is crucial and determining. I am not likely to be fooled by the looks and riches. The character of that person still is the same...
