It generally depends on the girl and how fast/slow the guy is taking things with her.

USUALLY at the beginning there's a lot of sparks and anticipation... more smiling and flirting... more cutesy shit... Versus months into it you kind of know each other's routines and go-to moves... you know a few "inside" jokes/stories and can possibly just give each other a look and know what it means... It's comfortable and ready to shift to the next level, whatever that level is for you two.

At the beginning we’re mostly just trying to suss out how likely you are to kill/assault/rape us.
