Most people can't see a good match standing right in front of them! Therefore, it doesn't matter that others turned them down, most likely, others never gave them half a chance, either!

it's something to wonder about but not a deal breaker. there could be legit reasons why they didn't date for so long that doesn't make them not a good potential partner

Yep. Currently dating someone who was single all their life until me and vice versa. So someone who has been single for 10 years wouldn't bother me at all.

Why would that be a red flag? Some people don't date just to date. It's conceivable they haven't been drawn to someone in 10 years. Hell, i went 15 years. Once.
