I'm honestly not picky: pizza (it's cheap yet tasty), a good burger and fries, Mexican, Italian food...

I mean I like food so I'm not that picky, lol. Though since I'm watching my weight, would I eat a salad? Yeah, but I genuinely enjoy salads (yeah really), though I usually top them with a protein like chicken so I get full eating one; not to look cute and dainty.

I dont really eat at all. I’ll order something that i can just kinda play with until the date ends. I’ll chew on the same french fry for an hour. I have almost always given my food away to the guys cause they’d be like “Well if you’re not gonna eat that...” 😂 I’m just not comfortable eating on dates but once i get home, i chow down

On a first date, I usually go on a picnic or grab a drink or some ice cream. I don’t do full meals. If the girl expects or gets upset over that and calls me cheap.. that’s a super red flag and she isn’t worth my time. A first date is for People to get to know each other, not for the women to get a free expensive meal so she can “know that he will take care of her.” If a man see value in you, he will take care of you. Rich, broke, dead ass poor, that man will find a way to take care of you. So that’s what I do. It weeds out all the bullshitters wanting a free meal.

Something light. I'm always too nervous to eat. Maybe soup, that's easy to eat. I don't normally get comfortable to eat and pig out. That's usually right around the time I start losing weight lol then I decide to end things because I'm losing weight from stress from dating him and it doesn't seem worth it anymore. That's actually an endless cycle. I don't get how women can just be comfortable around a guy and let themselves eat a ton of food in front of him. It blows my mind.

Probably because those women are not suffering from underlying eating disorders. Not wanting to eat a lot on a first date is normal, but if you're in a relationship and actively losing weight because you're too afraid to eat around them, it has become an eating disorder.

@Lynx122 hmm well I have fearful avoidant attachment style. I feel anxiety when I'm dating, it's difficult for me to feel comfortable. I don't know if I want to see a therapist, but maybe I'll read up about it in books, I feel like it's easier that way.

Like if we go to a BBQ place I'm not gonna get ribs, but I'll absolutely get tacos at a Mexican place bc tacos are delicious, so I don't care that they're messy. As far as what specific food, well that depends what's on the menu. I like at least some food in most places, so I'm not picky about where for a first date.
