Because many women have been fooled with materialism, feminist extremism, magazines/movies/the media — one lie after another. Yes, it falls on men and guys as well in terms of standards. Many women probably feel a relationship with a man or guy isn’t worth it because of her past which has broken her heart and lost respect and you mix what feminism teaches, yea it doesn’t surprise me.

All it takes is one bad relationship for a woman or girl to say fuck it. But what women don’t understand is look at how much shit men and guys have to deal with — the hot and cold emotions of females, her being courted more by other men/guys which intrigues her more, her friends influencing bad thoughts. Never every guy is a deranged serial killer or rapist.

I’ve known girls who had abortions, cheated, embraced being a slut, two-faced…the list goes on, but even after many many many years I don’t view every female that way. The problem is we live in odd times and a world that lives off greed, so human beings don’t trust each other. This is why I find it extremely odd people have this strange obsession with their dogs.

I’m not talking about loving their pet, I mean WEIRD OBSESSION where they value their pet more then children being killed by Israeli forces with war money given by the United States daily.

That might be because newer and newer girls are joining the market and men have a lot more to pick from, they are not even fully familiar with the first shiny girl, already get distracted by the second one.

When men find "the one" they marry her, when women find "the one", they think maybe there is still something better out there and miss out on valuable guys and end up with dudes who don't want them LOL or at least that is how it has gone for my sisters friends..

Personally, because I never found the one that was right for me until I turned 40 (that year).

Sure I had other relationships, but deep down none of them were marriage material. The first one, for him I wasn't enough, physically. In order to become the woman he wanted, I would have had to fork out for plastic surgery. The second, as I found out later, deep down we didn't share the same values and end goals.

I do not feel any less of a person because im unmarried in my mid 40s. Sure society looks down on it and me, but idgaf. I'm looking after me, and my well being and that's all matters.

I know I'm going to catch hate for this but you asked the question so I'll give you an honest answer. Youth is attractive. A good woman does NOT lose value. But most women are not very good women. When a woman starts losing her looks and she wasn't a good person to begin with. She loses the only marketable asset she had going for her. Couple this with the fact that as men age they get tired of drama and games. So if this aged woman makes his life too hard he just wants her to go away.

These women can be marketable (albeit they're going to have an uphill battle at this point). But they have to be willing to change thier attitude and most won't most will never accept that they are the problem. So, they'll continue how they are.

Also, it does help that on average, women live 7 years longer than men. Not counting for things like war or crime, either. Just biologically, all things being equal, women live longer than men.

because men care more about bodies than women, guys dont go for whores but women go for players so even the manwhores can get women meanwhile the women that lived a wreckless lifestyle and slept around or "aren't relationship material" will age, this is an assumption created from my personal observations of course

Because a man's value increases as he gets older, a woman's decreases. So as he ages, he has more women to pick from. I've lost count of not only the famous guys we all know that are married to younger women... but the amount of older guys I see daily out in public with younger women. As he ages, he has more of what women seek.

Older women had higher expectations so they are still unmarried. They should have married when they were young, attractive and energetic. They might have met imperfect guys when they were dating but they should have chosen 1 imperfect guy to start a family with.

Two reasons--women LIVE longer than men on average (by a good 8 years or so) so there are just more old women around. And most couples tend to involve the dude older than the woman so there will be even MORE old women than men without a partner.
