I just went to dinner with a girl and she showed up with chipped black nail polish. Some of the nails were fairly chipped, is this just her being more casual or was the date not that important to her?
Some people like their nail polish like that.
Others just don't care - generally speaking in life.
This, by no means, means she doesn't care about the date.
If you find this annoying, then maybe you'd do better with a more tidy woman?

And don't just focus on the nails.
When I first started dating this girl, she'd always show with nice nails, makeup, hair, and was clean and shaven.
But the first time she showed up without nails, no makeup, messy hair, and clearly hadn't showered or brushed her teeth, I knew it was over. And I was right
Honestly she may not assume you even noticed. I don’t think I’ve met a man who cared about my manicure, or have heard of it be even noteworthy from other women. Pedicures are different, at least to me, messed up toes are a big no-no.
