I only hit on girls I know are single, but they don't ever want a date and these girls usually stay single for a long time. It's almost like you have to go for the girls in relationships already because, hey at least you know they aren't opposed to dating

Nothing worth having in life is easy to get. Even if it seems easy, you will later find out there's some huge cost associated with it that you were just too dumb to realize before. If you want one of the vast majority of women who are available (whether they are in a relationship or not) then that's easy to find, as you have realized. If you want a woman who is actually quality it takes more to get that. And the flip side is true too... a woman has to offer more to get a quality go --or-- to get most guys to take her seriously.
So be sure what you want... be careful what you wish for, as the saying go. At my age I can understand the value of time. When you're younger you can imagine that time isn't worth much and that if you spend/waste time on the wrong woman it's not a big deal. To me, dating women who I don't actually think have a very good potential to be worth more than just dating would be like driving down every random dead end streets on purpose while you're on a road trip to go coast to coast.
Last night I watched a PyscHacks video on youtube. The guy who runs it is a well qualified academic psychologist.
His thesis was that guys and gals no longer want relationships.
The point he was making was that guys and gal have till recently transacted for what they want in a relationship. Some of those wanted items are sex, resources, support, children, emotional components. However those come at a cost in a relationship and it is not without risk. What you have contracted for might not be delivered. For example there might be far less sex or even none. So there is risk.
His point was that online social media and porn supplies those elements in a guaranteed (safe), cheaper way. Porn is nowhere near like sex with a woman but we can certainly get highly aroused by it. Its enough like it and so much safer and cheaper to be preferable to transacting with a woman for it.
At the same time for women, social media with all it's likes is providing what women might have sought from men and close female friends previously. A more guaranteed (safe), cheaper way and there is no physical risk. Its enough like a relationship and so much safer and cheaper to be preferable to transacting with a man for it.
So his answer would be that those single girls don't want relationships because they have got social media instead.
Because it’s just so peaceful not having to answer to anybody. We can also just focus on ourselves.
We can pamper ourselves, spend on ourselves and our families (some of us have responsibilities towards our families) and we can pursue our interests like learning music or languages which is time consuming without having to worry about calling a man everytime we leave the house, texting him everytime we pee, remembering his birthday and spending thousands on gifts for anniversaries and birthdays or outings.
Relationships are time consuming and take effort and some of us just want to focus on ourselves.
Also many of us want to sleep peacefully at night knowing nobody is cheating on us and we don’t want to fall asleep crying and have to wet our pillows everynight because our boyfriend is extremely mean to us.
The more reserved and conservative people like myself are too traumatised by the West’s hook up culture and don’t want to deal with these men with high body counts and a history of frequenting clubs and having one night stands. If we don’t find a man of high calibre who is as reserved as us then we are better off without any man. These days women can provide for themselves so there is no need for a man. We just be with one if we love him and he is worth our time.

Be patient, kind, persistent (persistent only if you see they're into you in some way - you will know, it's a feeling, intuition), and very honest and open about your intentions.
If you 'play it cool' or play mind games you can forget it - women can sense that crap a mile away. (Even if you didn't have any bad intentions but just wanted to seem disinterested to try to 'keep them interested' that will backfire on you quickly - with a sane woman, that is.)
Most of the woman like this don’t put themselves in positions to meet the guys they do want to.
@DarkWinterNights I can agree with that as I also don't put myself in situations where I could actually meet anyone.
But just to pick your brain a bit, which locations would you suggest?

Well to be fair I don’t really either. These days it’s hard enough just to make friends. I’ve heard suggestions for church, coffee shops and bookstores, but opportunities to even introduce yourself are few and far between.
@DarkWinterNights Huh, yeah, I get that...
I don't really go to church (and probably wouldn't mesh that well with people there), coffee shops - that I can and do definitely do, but as you say just going up to someone who's doing something or is with another person (friend or otherwise) is just too out of the blue to be considered natural (but maybe just crazy enough to work?).
Bookstores - where I live you can only see women there. Or parents shopping for their kid's school books.
I love actually going everywhere alone - the movies are my favorites. But I guess that's the one place where you actually just have no chance of meeting anyone. :)

@_SillyShoes_, Yeah, I definitely understand that. In order to meet people it feels like you have to change your interests and that seems like a recipe for failure.
My irony is I do a lot of social activities with the friends I do have, but they aren’t really conducive to meeting people, (remote outdoors activities). Walking up and introducing yourself to someone in the middle of the woods is likely to end in a bear macing lol.

I love the beach, but I have this feeling that if I met anyone at the beach there would only be one thing on their mind and I would not appreciate that. Not an ideal way to meet for sure.
@_SillyShoes_, Beaches are nice. I’ve never been a fan of the crowds, but I do kind of miss it. I haven’t been to an actual beach since high school. I went to Hawaii during my senior year and didn’t realize the big island doesn’t really have beaches.
I do feel like unless certain situations arise, talking to random people isn’t kosher, pretty much anywhere. How did society complicate meeting each-other so much?

Oh, I have no idea, but getting to meet anyone with romantic potential truly seems near impossible nowadays. :/
@_SillyShoes_, They’re mostly rocky and volcanic. There’s a few beaches but they’re by the resorts and super packed. Still a fun place to visit though, great food, scenery and you can visit some of the volcanic tourist attractions.
Tourist attractions in general are kind of hit or miss. I always prefer to try and find the less popular sights. Usually requires some local knowledge of the area though.

Don't be to open. "when u lie, women buy". I wouldn't suggest to sell them a dream or straight lie all day but to be to open about it is not good. Stay in the middle. Women like things what they hear.

Maybe they want to be single and have gotten used to it
Something tells me you’re probably new or relatively new to approaching and the game maybe, but girls in relationships are open to flirtation for the same reasons men are - the excitement isn’t around as much when one is single.
Now, if you want to pursue women in relationships, that’s on you, but there’s going to be more games and drama odds are because many of them will be facing ethical questions and often times use you to get to their boyfriends by making them jealous/aka more control over them.
Regarding single girls, there’s a lot more to your conclusion then simply “they’re single vs in relationships”: 1) How often are you approaching? 2) Where do you like to approach them? 3) What time of the day? 4) What’s your approaching style? 5) What’s your fashion like? 6) a bunch of others.
Because after being single you realize there is lot of freedom in that way we can make our life decisions do things alone don't need to compromise explore more new things in life i am single and want to be forever i have lot of emotional support in my life and living exactly how i wanted to hence i never feel the need of partner
Well, yeah, sounds like you were just going for women who weren't looking for a relationship. Not all single women are like this, and your chance of crazy increases if you're dating cheaters.
That said, where are you looking? Because if you're hitting up the bar scene, you're limiting your market.
You still have a chance with many of them in this status. Often they will be open to dating a guy even if they are not actively looking.
Once a woman is on a mission to find a partner, competition can be intense as she checks out potential canditates. It may be easier when you are the only one making an advance.
They do not need a guy all the time, but many are open to seizing a good opportunity.
A lot of women prefer to focus on themselves, their friends, family, class / carreer, that's just how's is you just got to find one that isn't but don't go for those who are in relationship cause if she leave her guy to be with you then she's gonna end up cheating on you too...

But It is wrong to go for someone who i already taken, you have a problem with girls being single and them going from one person to another, i mean what you want them to do? Settle if they are unhappy in both situations? Some people cannot be alone so they date, some would rather be alone than with someone who doesn't make them really happy. If a girl is on a dating app she is open to dating, men dont get they have to put an effort for a girl to feel safe and comfortable, they want us to open up right away when in reality you need to "earn" that by making us feel safe. Im not saying there aren't terrible women out there, there sure are, those that use men and well and such but you can figure that out pretty quickly as well.
I agree it's not right, but you have to consider how often ot really happens. Say a girl has a boyfriend, then she gets a new job and hits it off with a co worker that she clicks with better than her boyfriend and walla. How many times has a girl broken up with me and a week later she's with some other dude.
Sounds like you have not had a deep relationship to begin with and only go for someone just to be with someone, when you have deep connection w someone you dont jump ships like that. I dont see that happening that often tbh
