Girls, Why are most Single Girls not looking for a Relationship or to Date anyone, Or at least that's what they tell people?

So to clarify.. just because we're not LOOKING for a relationship, doesn't mean we're not open to being in one if a certain guy comes around.
When I say I'm not looking, I mean exactly that. I'm not actively looking for a partner. I'm enjoying my life as is (believe it or not people can enjoy their lives while single) focusing on myself, friends, and family.
I've been single since college and have met amazing people and have had amazing experiences in life. I've had so much fun 🤗
A huge thing for me as well is that I move around a lot, as do the people around me and I'm not open to long distance relationships.
My BFF isn't "looking" for a relationship as well, she's focusing on herself, growing as a person and trying to accomplish her goals.

I have no doubt relationships are great to try, but there’s no rule that says women have to be in a relationship. Maybe she wants to enjoy her single life, friendship and empowerment for a while. And women get the “Aren’t you married yet?” question a lot more than men do.

Some girls are actually looking for someone but can't seem to get a serious partner, but others are really enjoying being alone more than being with the wrong person. Relationships can get very tiring, being single is comfortable, easy and less stressing.

i am personally not because i am tired of the games, guys say they want this and that they when they find it, they dont believe it, ghost you and dont know how to communicate, it gets old. i work cook, clean, no kids i have a lot to offer, im not into petty mind games. at the end of the day we can get our itch scratched randomly if thats what we wanted or buy a toy its less stress to deal with to be honest

The way I see it is I have to keep busy so if I don’t have a boyfriend / husband / best friend / children I will keep busy with my career or my hobbies or my spirituality or my learning or my health or my community activities.

Well, personally, I say it because I know I’m not ready for a relationship. Some girls take our time being single to focus on ourselves and heal, instead of just rushing into a new relationship. Another reason as to why we may say this is if we simply aren’t into you. It’s a less harsh way of saying we aren’t interested.
