Is he going to text me after our date?

I went on a hinge date last night. The guy and i had a really good time i thought. We went out for drinks and then watched a movie. I ended up sleeping over but all we did was kiss. I thought we hit it off and he said he'd wanna go out again on a date. Now its almost 8 pm and i haven't heard from him at all. I am 22 and he is almost 26, the age gap is kinda big so maybe this could have something to do with it? Why is he not texting me? Did he not like me?

Oh, I'm so sorry you haven't heard from him yet. I totally get it, that can be very discouraging when you thought things went well, and you still don't get a text back. It can definitely feel frustrating.

It's hard to say why he hasn't texted yet. Maybe he's busy or working, or it could also be that he's trying to play it cool and not seem too eager. The age gap might also have something to do with it, like you said. But he did say he'd want to go out again, so give it some time.
