Today I had a pretty nice, meditative day. Lots of nice things happened and I felt very happy. I also made some stranger people happy and have been feeling content with myself.

So, decided to celebrate it a little.
Came home, I had some strawberry candles, opened the wine, ordered pizza and just enjoyed myself.

Cheers to the people in the front buildings who might not be alone but feel lonely, here I am, alone but not lonely.

Posted that pic with the same title on my Wechat and there are suddenly so many people willing to disturb my coziness. Got invited on one birthday party too!

That guy, who I no longer went on a 2nd date with, messaged me that he hopes I will show up 2nd time at least on a date with myself 🤣🤣

Every night between 5pm to 9pm I work on writing my novels, but sometimes afterwards I have a movie night, where I watch a movie on this laptop. Yeah, I don't own a whole lot, lol. But yeah, sometimes if I feel I did a good job writing, I will give myself a reward and make a bowl of ice cream, Chocolate chunks and cherry is my favorite.

My book characters are the closest thing I have to a date! And I don't think they're very happy with me since I got em in all those bad situations, especially my goth character Violet, which I had her in a horrible situation when I ended the 3rd book in the series, so she probably really hates me! lol.

This is what happens. You spend too much time alone, and fictional characters are in your mind! That's as close to a date with myself as I get, a movie and ice cream, if that counts as a date.

I opened a bottle of sparkling rose I've been meaning to try and sat around petting the rescue kittens in the conservatory, watching the raccoon babies play in the garden. Much more fun than a great many dates I've been on.

I do quite often.
My partner works in and out the country a lot and I can always depend on friends to be around on my off day. I usually dress up and do things on my own.

Yep, I worked hard and didn’t have any time to enjoy myself at home. I used to go out in the morning and come home late.

Sometimes I would play hookie from work and go see a movie or hang out at the beach or just go sightseeing by myself. Sometimes you just have to reconnect with yourself.

At my age, after all the barely rewarded contribution to the humanity I have done, I need marriage proper and durable to a bachelorette beauty (or two or three such bachelorettes who'd agree to share me as their sole husband, lover and future father of their and my children in mutual exclusivity (no other guys to be involved)).
