Do you go out on dates by yourself?

The preview photo—or whatever it’s called—for this question immediately reminded me of when I flew solo to see Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire about a month after it opened. It was sparsely attended which suited me just fine, and I chose the back row of the lower level seating which I had all to myself, a large Coke on the rocks in hand, and no concerns about being upwind from anyone’s popcorn on which the fake butter smells like pee. So yeah, I do go on dates by myself... actually I’ve only gone on dates by myself, it just doesn't happen often because I usually can’t be bothered to stray far from home as having to rely on buses makes it a real PITA to go anywhere.

100% yes! It's just learning to enjoy your own company and doing things you want to do without needing to depend on others for your own good time. People love to call others pathetic for staying at home and just watching tv all the time, so why not get out in the world and just live life to the fullest?

If only I had the ability to. But I have lots of hobbies and stuff that I do by myself at home at least, so I don't mind going out with people. I mean, if I didn't, then who would I show stuff that I think is interesting, funny, or cute to anyone?

Yep. Why let being single keep you from enjoying the good things life has to offer. Besides, you just might find a love interest. You can’t find a partner just sitting at home.


Some people will travel abroad by themselves. Traveling by yourself offers you more opportunities to do what you want to do without inconveniencing someone else.



I love food. After a rough day or week, l love to reward myself with a great meal, a strong alcoholic drink or good movie at a theater. Some movies are much better in a movie theater than streaming them at home.

I do, when I have the money for it. I find it to be a great expression of self-love, not to mention it can just be nice to go out and treat yourself to something

I don't go out on dates period, single or not.
Thats a normie thing.
I stay at home drawing, playing video games, doing science, reading comics, building model kits, playing instruments, playing with pets, and watching cartoons, movies, and nature docs.

I call it "all my friends were too busy to go with me so I'm going by myself because I'm determined to do xyz with out without others" lol so yes, I guess you can say I do.

Sometimes Yes. My wife and I don't always like the same things. Each of us may go see a movie on our own. She hates fast food, so sometimes I go there myself.

Not since I got married. I have been to concerts, reastaurant, bars , sporting events and other things by myself. I do not regret any of it.

I go do things solo. Movies and theater are actually best solo, so I can focus upon the presentation.
