Lots of people do. I know a lot of married couples who met online. Some met on actual dating sites, and some met from sites like Meetup. I also know two couples who met their international partner the old way through magazines dedicated to that purpose.
Online is the only way I'd find my forever person, so it would have to be a dating app, or online platform for gamers or artists, or some other online thing. Finding a match offline would be so unlikely that it might as well be impossible. There simply are not enough single women who are my type, and the few that exist are mostly shut-ins.

I know several people who have met, and married, their long-term partner, on a dating site.
Sure but it all depends on where you look.
If you look internationally, you are more likely to get better luck not just by law of probability but I notice that people from certain countries are more likely to accept you.
Huh, interesting and logical approach.
Online dating has already become the no.1 platform for married couples to meet. However, mean feel very disheartened by their experience on it. The solution is to only use it passively and never pay for services.
Yeah it's absolutely possible. Now is it probable? That I can't answer. Here's the way I look at it. What have I got to lose. I look at online dating apps as primarily just entertainment. When you realize the quality level of women as a whole on dating sites it behooves you not to get too invested in it.
I'm sure it's theoretically possible, but I haven't had any luck so far, and I don't want to try the apps again.
There's no "One", just people you can be happy with.
no it's a waste of time,
I was pretty sure that was the case. I thought to try it but then thought it might just be a waste of my time...
No worries about that - smooth talking never works on me...
