Mixed signals and confusion with this new women I am 26 she is 32 help?

I’ve been going to PT for some time now and fell for my physical therapist got her number and everything. We have been talking for some time now we had a date set and she canceled day of due to a gym injury. And has been very short with texting. I want to ask her if she’s still interested in this or not. Some days she seems very interested then the next she seems like she wants nothing to do with me. I don't know what to do

I would end this interaction. I am involved in the gym my self and have a trained, and often times people in that field get uncomfortable with clients trying to make their way into their life because it becomes unprofessional.

I get that 100% but I left her my number and said you choose and the next day she texted me… she said she doesn’t wanna cross boundaries I asked what boundaries she said sexual ones I said listen if I wanted to have sex with you I would’ve said it or would’ve said I’ll rock your world. Even though I’ve asked her many times if she’s okay with this and she’s agreed to a date and everything? And I’m in school for PT and she said I should quit my current job and come work where she’s at

She can still back out at any time lol people are always in their heads thinking out scenarios and coming to realizations. Do not quit your job.

Lol I’m in school for physical therapy and she is a physical therapist and I only work in a restaurant for the time being so it’s not like I’m leaving much lol. So I see her this Wednesday should I see where her head is at if she wants to keep talking or just go our separate ways I do really like her and would love to see where things can go should I stop seeing her as my Pt so it isn’t breaking and rules could that be what’s holding her back?

We’ll see if she does decide to hang with you Wednesday and if you do get together, don’t be afraid to express what you are feeling! You will get a better understanding when you ask questions

No I see her Wednesday for a PT session. And she’s always touching me like when I’m leaving she’ll give me a flirty look and a tap on the arm and we had plans last Saturday and she brought up in person during a session if I’m picking her up or if we are meeting there. And then she said she got hurt again at the gym and she was limping around during our last session from hurting herself at the gym

If you are in a professional setting, you should be keeping it professional to begin with. If she hasn’t accepted separate outings outside her job, she isn’t interested

If there’s nothing being set up in the future and it’s because of her mixed signals, it’s probably lack of interest. Maybe she just doesn’t want to lose a client but feels discomfort in this interaction at this point

technically she can't date you its a breach of ethical guidelines. meaning especially if you are a current patient dating would be discouraged and frowned upon, she could lose her job over it. she might be weighting the options or conflicted about what to do is why she's acting like that, once she gave you her number she crossed the line unfort. i would say hey once im done with PT and discharged would you like to go to dinner

I’m willing to do that now I think I’m at the point we’re I feel better I would love to see where this could go with her should I bring it up to her weds if that’s what’s holding her back and if I am ready to not be in PT anymore and so we can actually see where this goes

i would bring it up and find out. i work in healthcare sometimes you connect with patients, they fall for you but professionalism reigns supreme and can have so many repercussions.

Hey I want to run something by you, I want your honest feedback. I truly like you and I would love to continue to connect and talk to you and see where this can go. If you feel the same way I am willing to stop our session and go from there. Because I’m getting mixed signals one moment you seem very interested then the next you don’t do I don't know if the patient thing is holding you back or what but….
