She giving me mixed signals? What should I do?

I've been dating this girl for about a month now, I met her through work and we've been on 4-5 dates. She's 26 and has a full time job, super mature, overall a great person. We clicked in person, and all our dates have gone well. We have the same goals/want the same thing etc. But we never labeled our relationship yet. She said she wants to take things slow, so we never been intimate yet.

The only red flag that I noticed is that she's not the greatest texter. She would take hours/days to respond to my texts (sometimes I might even be left on read). I brought this up on our 2nd date and she said she will try and improve on her texting. She said others have told her the same thing regarding her texting. She did improve a little but I feel like there is a lack of communication. I know she has a full time job that requires a lot of time, but it does bother me that sometimes I feel like I'm left in the dark with her. (There would be days that go by and I haven't heard from her)

On the other hand, sometimes she would text me out of the blue and say that she misses me, and wants to see me.

What do you guys think could be happening?

I mean use yourself as your own example. If you're interested in someone do you hold off on messages and such? There's no such thing as too busy and if it takes too much energy for her to talk to you I doubt the interest is there at least to the extent that you're interested in her. You already brought up the issue and there was only slight improvement... Continuing to bring it up isn't a good idea either.

I usually respond when I have time, I hate playing games. She has always been a horrible texter, and I haven't heard from her in a few days. but she did suggest a date when she's back in town (she's currently on a work trip).

I think there is a chance she just struggles with texting, but I feel like you need to be open with her about the dates and everything, and how you’re telling and ask how she’s feeling herself. That will give you a clear answer

Yea she has always been a horrible texter, but she has suggested another date when she gets back in town. (she's currently on a work trip) I have already brought this up on our 2nd date, do you think I should bring it up again?

Well, she ended up ghosting me. It hurts because I saw a potential future with her and all our dates have gone well. I'm guessing she probably met someone on her work trip or gone back to her ex.
