If a girl likes you but says she needs time, when should you message her?

This girls likes but said she needs time to herself because of her past relationship (it was bad). Should i message her again in a month to see how she is doing or just leave it be. We spoke for every single day and even had very long phone calls. She said i was the best guy she ever met but said i did nothing wrong, she need time because she is not ready to date yet.
