I prefer close to my age but can go either way within reason. In a perfect world he would be a year or two older than me. If dating a girl I like to be very close to my age. Don't ask me why because I really don't know lol. I think it has to do with having the most in common with someone within a year of my age when it comes to girls. Think fashion and all that good stuff. With a guy it is a bit different. I can be more flexible.

Ideally the same age. 3 year gap or less is great as well. I dont like larger gaps but if he's in like his early-mid 20s while I’m still in my 20s, i may make an exception depending on the dude
