Am I being friendzone?

We have been on a date for few times. We had a lot of fun with eo, some of his action i could take as a sign of interest (even other people can sense this.. even his friend usually leave him to let me and him having our own time alone) BUT, he always call me ‘friend’… i usually call him by ‘you’ or his name. Which i figure out that he say, if i call his name, thats mean i want to talk about smtg srs, not a casual talk.. So like, is that the reason why he opt for calling me ‘friend’ instead of using my name or any other way… its kinda getting to my nerve.. “thank you friend” “what are u doing friend” bruhh..

I mean that may just be part of his speech habits. Just check in with him. The question won't change the answer.

It sounds like you are being friend zoned, but why not ask him why he calls you friend instead of your. first name.

Cuz.. to be frank, im scared to face the reality if he actually answ reason being is because he only see me as his friend hahaha.. but on anthr side, since he's not English speaker, his English level is poor, so im still trying my best to guess that, he did that not because of him friendzoning me.. my friends keeps on insisting, why would he spend so much time, money and effort for me, if he has no interest. Hence thats anthr reason why i avoid asking, assuming this is just a small matter or more on shldnt be a matter to be brought up..
