There are plenty of reasons to give somebody a sharp punch in the face. The last time a guy insuted my wife during a kids soccer game. I told him I would give him the opportunity to apologize. He decided not to test me.

There's nothing wrong with a guy hitting another guy, as long as he doesn't hit his girlfriend.

Only if it’s in self defence. Otherwise I don’t think it’s justified for anyone to be hitting anyone.

Hitting a woman? Only to protect your life and the safety of those who can't defend themselves against her. The are plenty of good reasons to hit a man, though.
