No, it would be stupid, and a crime, to get physically violent in response to an insult. A threat of violence? Maybe, but I would be more likely to just leave. Anyway that never happens in the places I frequent. Such a person would be ejected immediately by security. If someone insulted me, i would just laugh as it would just demonstrate their own insecurity.
