I had the chance to make myself look good in front of this girl. The only thing I was able to get out was what does she like doing in her free time. We both work together and I am normally quiet. I just normally ask her this book she is reading, or the music she is listening to at the moment. Other times it just things she says in the moment. This time she was quiet and I didn’t know what to say other than that. I want to know everything about her, but just couldn’t think of it. I consider myself a quiet person in general, which I figure she knows from work. I don’t know how to start talking and keeping her interest. I need some help.

The fact that she is pretty, smart, ambitious, open, funny, likes some of the things I do. Will she like me, how can I keep her interested, how it to look like an idiot, why can’t I be more outgoing and funny when I need to be with her. Then wondering, if I can show her a good time (yes I’m a homebody).

I’m not a big talker around people aside from my family. I tend to go blank or not have much to say. Then when I try to talk about something I will stutter.

Ok, I follow. I have someone in your age range who does the same things around me. I freezes, blushes, and stammers out words even though he's normally not like that. A woman can tell what a guy likes her, no matter how hard he tries to hide it, so if she's still being friendly, she doesn't mind the attention and maybe even wants more. things I found charming about the guy is how he remembered details from past conversations and asked me about them again. it made me realize that he listened. he also makes little excuses around the office to drop by my desk or meet me "accidentally" in the break room. the other day he told me he liked my dress and since I was wearing something different from my usual style, I could tell he really paid attention. his willingness to be vulnerable and me nervous was the beautiful thing so I wouldn't worry about the freezing. i would just try to initiate conversations regardless. maybe find an excuse at work to do lunch or coffee outside and see if sparks fly
