I met a guy in San Diego and we went on 3 great dates, now I am back home 2 hours away, is it too much to ask to meet me halfway for a date and KIT?

I had an absolutely wonderful time with him as I lived in San Diego temporarily and he said he was interested in me and I said I was also interested. I think he mentioned he'd want to work things out too with the distance. He messages me a week later asking if I am back in SD and that he wants to see me again. I responded by saying I was happy to hear from him and that I am back home now, and wondering if he would be open to meet me half way in Temecula, where there are great wineries there - is this too much to ask?

He hasn't responded and I am feeling totally embarrassed for asking him. What would have been more reasonable to ask him and how bad was it that I asked that? Thank you for any insight!!

That doesn't seem unreasonable and no reason to feel embarrassed. If he can't be bothered to put in some effort to be with you it's probably a red flag.

Meeting half way there is nothing wrong with that. If he has a problem with it, he has some issues he needs to work out.
