Gorgeous/stunning women v. pretty/cute women? What is the difference? Why do guys always go for the latter for long-term relationships?

It takes a lot of time / work for a woman to stay stunning. Makeup, hair clothes etc. A cute woman is still cute with her hair mussed after getting out of bed, or dripping wet from the shower.

I think the effort spent on "stunning" would end up being a drag on life.

It might be fun to drive a Lamborghini a couple of times, but you wouldn't want to own one (unless you have another car as well...)

Same would apply to men who put a huge effort into their appearance.

Many guys can't imagine the drop dead gorgeous girl being happy with them long term, but the cute girl next door is more realistic as a long term satisfied partner.

I think a lot of it has to do with self esteem. If a girl is pretty and cute she is still attractive and easier to approach

The gorgeous/stunning woman is nice to look at, but it almost always means she's self-centered, high-maintenance, and overly demanding. Most guys avoid those things, even if it means losing out on the highest levels of beauty. A simpler girl is usually a better long-term partner.

There is no difference people go after looks within 6 months to 5 years they're divorced because looks are deceiving just because you look beautiful doesn't mean that you are beautiful on the inside just because you look some way doesn't mean that that's truly who You are who you truly are is the person on the inside now if you're beautiful on the inside now that's a whole different story that's where people should be looking not for beautiful on the outside not for cuteness not for adorable but for confidence smarts intelligence wisdom strengths love passion that all comes from the inside not from the outside the outside is just an extra bonus when you find that beautiful person on the inside

Because hot women, although most of us would bang them, usually tend to be stuck up. The ones I’ve dated really didn’t have a personality, they weren’t fun. They felt that their beauty was enough and that they could easily just find another man. So some of them felt like they didn’t have to do a damn thing. Plus the sex was just boring , again they felt like their looks were good enough. A cute/pretty girl makes me think of a girl next door type of situation. Fun, happy, likes to take random trips. Makes cookies lol she’s awesome in many ways. When I think of these two type of women I think of Ginger and Mary Ann from Giligan’s Island.

😆😆😆 typically that "drop dead georgeous" woman has the corresponding personality.

Most guys would rather be with a woman who is attractive, funny, game for whatever than the woman who spends 2 hrs on her makeup and 30 minutes with 10 takes to get selfie right.
